| Location Narrative |
The site is in the Drake mitigation area, in the northwest corner of the property, approximately 50 meters from the northern-most fence, and 200 meters east of the property's western boundary. The stand is in a vernal pool bottom dominated primarily by Navarretia leucocephala and Lasthenia fremontii. The stand contains significant cover of cobbles and a soil surface dominated by algal mat, currently black in color. Adjacent areas are made up of swales and small rises covered with California Annual Grassland.
